Laura Schlachter, AICP
Laura Schlachter is the Program Manager of Main Street Port Clinton. She received her
Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources in 1999 and her Master of City and Regional Planning in 2001 from The Ohio State University. Laura is a Certified Planner with The American Institute of Certified Planners. Before coming to Port Clinton, Laura was a Senior
Planner at Oxbow Engineering, an engineering, design, and planning consulting firm in Painesville, Ohio. She is a member of
the American Planning Association and the Ohio Planning Conference. Laura is in the Leadership Ottawa County Class of 2007 and
a member of North Coast Young Professionals. Laura is also on the Zoning Commission in Oxford Township, where she resides.
